This position paper deals with the integration of the ultra-orthodox into society and politics in the era of peace. The authors examine four conceivable scenarios concerning the ultra-orthodox community's reaction to the State of Israel in the age of peace. They suggest three types of reform that could aid in harmonizing the rights of this community with the legitimacy of the State and democracy.
The next position paper, which will be a continuation of this one, will deal with the integration of the Arabs in Israel into society and politics in the era of peace.
