Research and Programs

Research Programs
The Israel Democracy Institute's (IDI) fellows direct research programs in a variety of fields relating to society and government in Israel. The research in each program spans a range of subjects and is based on comparative data and on existing and alternative models. Based on their findings, researchers suggest strategies and ways of implementations.

Information on each research program – its goals, actions, and products (books, policy papers, etc.) – is available below. Information on fellows and their publications and articles, as well as relevant links, are also available.

Research Projects
IDI has established several projects over the years, in an effort to conduct systematic and specific discussions on a variety of topics that occupy the Israeli public and on key points relating to the performance of government offices and authorities, such as the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, and the IDF.

Each research project deals specifically and methodically with an important issue: the Caesarea Forum for National Economic Policy, the Army and Society Forum, and more.
