On Thursday, Dec.17, from 1:00-6:00 pm Israel time (6:00-11:00 am EST), a group of international legal experts will explore the legal protections available to states facing domestic and international attacks in a conference at the University of Haifa. The conference is co-sponsored by The Israel Democracy Institute, the Faculty of Law of the University of Haifa, the Bucerius Institute, the Haifa Center for German and European Studies, and Zeit-Stiftung. The discussion, based upon the book Offenses against the State, published in 2008 by IDI’s Prof. Mordechai Kremnitzer and Prof. Khalid Ghanayim, will be held in English and is available by webcast from IDI’s homepage.
