IDI Senior Fellow Awarded Hebrew University's Prestigious President's Prize for Outstanding Researcher
|
The IDI family congratulates Professor Yuval Shany, IDI Senior Fellow and director of the Terrorism and Democracy project, for his receipt of the 2009 President's Prize for Outstanding Researcher by Hebrew University President, Prof. Menachem Ben-Sasson, on January 24, 2010. Among the reasons given for this honor are his "impressive number of innovative, groundbreaking publications..."

State Ordered to Renew Palestinian Access to Route 443
In late December 2009, the Israeli High Court of Justice ordered the State to reopen Route 443, a road traveling through the West Bank that was closed to Palestinian traffic due to terrorist attacks in 2002. IDI's Terrorism and Democracy Newsletter contains a summary and brief discussion of the decision. |
