IDI Vice President Provides New Perspective on Conversion Debate 
Yedidia Stern 

For the last two months, Jews in both Israel and the Diaspora have voiced their concern regarding the Rotem bill, the controversial conversion legislation recently approved by the Knesset’s Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee.

In today's Jerusalem Post, IDI Vice President Prof. Yedidia Z. Stern makes an urgent plea for Jews of all denominations to come together to help solve Israel's conversion crisis in order to avoid the "social time bomb on our doorstep".
