IDI's Educational Program relies on progressive academic research, much of which is conducted under the auspices of IDI's Political Awareness through Education Program, headed by Professor Eyal Naveh, for the building of political education curriculums for the Israeli school system.
IDI's innovative teaching methods aim to help educators build Israel's next generation of political and civic leadership, as well as to more generally instill a sense of empowerment among Israeli youth. Working towards this end, The Educational Program conducts training courses and seminars in elementary schools, high schools, and institutions of higher education. IDI workshops bring together Israel's leading educators, school administrators, teachers, and students, to teach conceptual and practical techniques for providing a comprehensive political and democratic education.
