On 17 December 2009, between 13:00 and 18:00, Haifa University will host a forum on the topic of legal protection of the state from crimes directed against it. IDI’s Prof. Mordechai Kremnitzer and Dr. Khalid Ghanayim of Haifa University, co-authors of Offenses against the State - released by IDI Press in 2008 - will be among the international speakers presenting at the conference. The discussion will focus upon the laws and methods currently employed by the Israeli government to protect itself, the state as a victim, and a series of possible reforms.
The event will take place in Hecht Auditorium at the University of Haifa.
