The George Shultz Roundtable Forum: The Written Press

Event Date(s):
3/14/2010

Threats to the existence of the printed press, business initiatives perceived as disrupting the delicate balance between newspapers, legislative initiatives in the realm of communications, and demands that the state provide financial assistance to protect the written press—all of these things stand to deeply influence Israeli democracy.

Is it indeed the end of an era? What can be done to stop the erosion? Is a governmental act in order or should market forces be left to run their own course? These questions, as well as others, will be addressed by the George Shultz Roundtable Forum.

The George Shultz Roundtable Forum
