The Annual Economic Conference, the Caesarea Conference, 2003

The Israel Democracy Institute's 11th Annual Economic Conference, the Caesarea Conference, 2003 took place on July 2nd-3rd, 2003, at the Sheraton Plaza Hotel in Jerusalem. It was broadcast live on this site and simultaneously translated into English.

During the decade since its establishment, The IDI's Annual Economic Conference has become the most important economic conference in Israel. Each year central issues concerning the Israeli economy are discussed in a senior forum including prime ministers (present and past), ministers, members of the Knesset, public officials, academicians and business people. This year's conference was chaired by Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

The conference's Academic Director, Professor Reuven Gronau, supervised the work of the preliminary research teams on topics including: Credibility and Transparency in the Israeli Economy, Higher Education, Pre-Academic Education, and Macroeconomic Policy.
