The Israel Democracy Institute’s 12th Annual Economic Conference, the Caesarea Conference, took place in Jerusalem on 7-8 July, at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem. The sessions were broadcast live on this website with simultaneous translation into English of the afternoon sessions. The conference was being chaired by Minister of Finance, MK Binyamin Netanyahu, and the academic director of the conference was Professor Reuben Gronau.
The IDI's Annual Economic Conference has become the most important economic conference in Israel. Each year central issues concerning the Israeli economy are discussed. Among the speakers at the conference this year are Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Minister of Finance Binyamin Netanyahu, and the Governor of the Bank of Israel, Dr. David Klein.
