On Tuesday, June 17th, the George Shultz Roundtable Forum will discuss a new bill that proposes to change Israel's electoral system and introduce an element of regionalism (60 MKs will be elected by constituencies).
A request was made by several members of Knesset to discuss this issue, and IDI is glad to comply and host the meeting. Participating in the discussion will be the MKs who proposed the bill as well as some who are opposed to it, and academics that specialize in this area – members of IDI's research staff and guests.
*Unfortunately, the discussion on "Politics in Israel's Periphery" has been postponed to a later date.
