The right to freedom of expression has benefited from a place of privilege in Israeli law thanks to the favorable rulings of the Israeli Supreme Court. However, in recent months the Court passed a number of resolutions dealing with freedom of expression that raise concern that the protected and paramount place of this basic human right is at risk.
At 18:00 on Monday, February 23rd, IDI will host a public debate of the George Shultz Roundtable Forum on this topic. Participants include top legal experts and academics.
