Mr. Daniel Ben-Simon
Mr. Daniel Ben-Simon is a journalist who earned a B.A in Sociology and Political Science from Haifa University, and an M.A in Journalism from Boston University. He wrote for "Davar" newspaper for over a decade and then moved to "Ha'aretz". Mr. Ben-Simon recently left the newspaper to launch a political career in the Labor party, and won a place on the party's list in the primaries for the upcoming Israeli elections.
Mr. Ben-Simon's main areas of interest are social justice and equality, and the relationship between society and politics. He has won several prizes for his work as a journalist, including the Sokolov Prize.
Mr. Ben-Simon has taught Journalism at Sapir College and at Rupin College. He is the author of four books and was also involved in the making of documentary films based on two of his books.
